The manually operated AQMOS backwash filter is specifically designed for filtering drinking and process water. Made of high-strength, technical plastic, it reliably protects water pipes and connected systems from corrosion and malfunctions caused by foreign particles such as rust, shavings, and sand.

The flow-optimized filter system is ideal for removing particles larger than 90 µm. With its robust mechanical properties and precision manufacturing, the filter offers durable and reliable protection in any water-bearing system.

Integrated pressure reducer and manometer

A particular advantage of this filter lies in its continuously adjustable pressure reducer, which ensures noise-insulated operating conditions. The integrated pressure gauge allows for easy monitoring of the water pressure and guarantees safe use in demanding systems.

These integrated components ensure optimal water flow, allowing for both the protection of water installations and efficient pressure control.

Easy installation and flexible mounting

The AQMOS backwash filter can be mounted both horizontally and vertically and, thanks to its 180° rotation, can be used in any flow direction at ground level. This flexible orientation allows for easy integration into existing systems.

The ability to mount the filter in any position significantly simplifies installation and ensures that it can operate optimally even in hard-to-reach installation areas.

Efficient backwashing technology

If the filter element becomes clogged with dirt particles and the water pressure drops, the backwash filter can simply be switched to backwash mode. By turning the backwash knob, the drain is opened, allowing the contaminated water to be diverted through the pre-filter.

The backwashing process cleans the filter element in the opposite direction of water flow and minimizes water consumption. Depending on the degree of soiling, a backwash takes between 5 and 10 seconds and can be repeated several times if necessary to achieve complete cleaning.

Areas of application and important notes

The AQMOS backwash filter is ideal for filtering drinking and utility water in private households. Continuous pressure monitoring and an integrated date indicator that reminds you when the next filter change is due ensure optimal operation at all times.

Please note that this filter is not suitable for use in chemically treated circulating water, in media containing oil, grease, or solvents, or for the removal of water-soluble substances. Alternative filtration systems should also be considered in cases of heavy soil contamination.
